Lowell Volkel Award - Illinois State Genealogical Society
Awarded to a living person who has made significant contributions in the field of Illinois genealogy that is unique, pioneering, or exemplary. The recipient should be actively engaged in furthering the efforts of Illinois genealogical researchers through his or her efforts to publish materials, teach research techniques and guidelines, and actively participate in the activities of local, regional, and/or state societies.
Rabbi Malcolm H. Stern Humanitarian Award - Federation of Genealogical Societies
Awarded to recognize the lifetime contributions of a rare individual whose positive personal influence and example have fostered unity in the genealogical community, provided leadership to its individual members, and helped make family history a vital force in the community at large. |

Fellow of the Utah Genealogical Association (FUGA)
The UGA Fellow Award is given in recognition of those living individuals whose distinguished contributions and on-going commitment to the field of genealogy are of national or international scope. This may be evidenced by any combination of publications, teaching and speaking, or leadership of major genealogical organizations over a significant period of time.
